35th ANNUAL NEW LEGACIES: CONTEMPORARY ART QUILTS

This juried exhibition features the current work of the finest national and international contemporary quilt artists, July 5-August 26, 2017. Art quilts accepted for exhibition will exemplify innovation in quilting and surface design techniques as well as excellence in artistic composition and craftsmanship. The goal of the exhibition is to recognize the world's finest contemporary quilt artists and to advance the art form.

LINCOLN CENTER ART GALLERY - NOW ACCEPTING PORTFOLIOS AND EXHIBIT PROPOSALS

Artists and curators are welcome to submit portfolios and exhibition proposals for the Lincoln Center Art Galleries. The Lincoln Center seeks visually compelling exhibitions in all media that provide a unique and robust visual arts experience for the Colorado community. The Gallery staff develops the exhibition schedule from many different sources including direct submissions of portfolios and exhibition proposals for group and solo exhibitions from artists and curators.

 

There is an application fee of $35 to offset shipping and installation expenses for artists and curators selected for exhibition. Residents of the Fort Collins Growth Management Area may apply for free with the code: FC1718.

CITY HALL & LINCOLN CENTER LOBBIES

The City of Fort Collins is accepting submissions for artworks to hang in the City Hall & City Managers Offices and in the Lincoln Center Lobbies. Submissions are reviewed quarterly and artwork is replaced every four months at City Hall and every six months at Lincoln Center.

RENT GALLERY SPACE AT THE COMMMUNITY CREATIVE CENTER

The Community Creative Center at the Historic Carnegie Building (CCC) is owned and operated by the City of Fort Collins, managed through the Lincoln Center. The CCC is also home to Beet Street /Arts Incubator of the Rockies, as well as public gallery and performance spaces that are available to rent for exhibition, performance and presentation purposes.

The Center recognizes and promotes the synergistic and complementary aspects of a space that is shared by artists from various disciplines. Building tenants, clients and staff should be creative in capitalizing on this synergy and accommodating the logistical needs of multiple artists sharing a common space.

Artists may rent the space on a weekly basis for their own art exhibit, or on an hourly basis for an evening performance or presentation.

Community Creative Center Gallery Hours:
The Community Creative Center is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, noon - 6pm, when the gallery space is rented. Ticketed performances are sold by the performance entities.

Performance and Art Gallery Volunteers


The Lincoln Center is now recruiting fabulous, friendly individuals, couples & families for Performance Volunteer positions. If you love being a part of the action, working with people and supporting the arts in this community, you might be a great fit!

The Lincoln Center hosts over 300 events every year, including musicals, dance, drama, comedy, and many genres of music from a wealth of presenters ranging from local organizations to international touring companies. Many different positions are available for Lincoln Center Performance Volunteers, including Greeters, Ushers, Ticket-Takers, Coat-Check Attendants, Art Gallery Docents and Administrative Support.

If you are interested in volunteering for Lincoln Center performances, please fill out the online application below. Be sure to review all position requirements as they have recently been updated. Candidates best fitting our opportunities will be contacted to schedule a brief interview with Front of House staff.
