Annelies: Story of Anne Frank

This performance has passed. Please see some of our upcoming shows below.

Due to CSU's recent mandate regarding COVID-19 to restrict gatherings to less than 20 people, the upcoming "Annelies" concert that was scheduled to be held on the CSU campus has been postponed.

If you are a ticketholder, please hold on to your tickets, and they will be honored at the rescheduled performance time. The Larimer Chorale plans to reschedule for summer 2020.

Millions have read The Diary of Anne Frank and have been struck by the beauty and resilience of the human spirit during horrible and inhumane times. Composer James Whitbourn has created a concert piece for soprano solo, chorus, and chamber ensemble, inspired by Anne Frank’s famous diary. ANNELIES is a 75-minute choral work in 14 movements with libretto translated and compiled by Melanie Challenger from The Diary of Anne Frank. This will be a powerful and gripping multi-media experience that will be life-changing for audience members and performers alike. With these performances of ANNELIES we remember Anne Frank’s death in the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp seventy-five years ago.

Running Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes with no intermission
