This repertory production features Canyon Concert Ballet’s superb company dancers in a wide-array of contemporary and classical dance styles. The evening will showcase three world premieres: CSU dance instructor and local choreographer, James Wallace’s electrifying and edgy contemporary ballet, Resurgence; Canyon Concert’s artistic director, Alicia Laumann’s Here Comes the Sun, a jazz ballet set to icon George Benson’s most popular songs and up and coming contemporary choreographer from Salt Lake City, Nick Blaylock’s riveting, The Idea is Disruption. The evening will be rounded out with excerpts from the beloved Russian classic, Le Corsaire, local favorite and founder of Impact Dance, Judy Bejarano’s, Awaken, and Laumann’s beautifully rendered Jane Eyre.
