Illstyle & Peace Productions creates work rooted in West African Dance, contemporary and old school hiphop blended with an eclectic mix of dance and performance disciplines including tap, ballet, DJing, and beatboxing. The group is dedicated to delivering a positive message that showcases the many creative ways that hiphop can be explored, deconstructed, and built back up again. Through the work of Brandon "Peace" Albright, the group helps people learn about breaking free from the negative stereotypes that are associated with hiphop and to begin viewing hiphop as an artistic means of expression, meant to uplift the spirit. The members of the group carry a message of harmony and peace and demonstrate that higher goals can be achieved with focus and perseverance.
