The Story Bakers

The Story Bakers, a professional improv troupe, blend education and entertainment for a live performance to inspire children to write and tell their stories. These big, bold characters give a cooking demonstration on baking up a “tasty” story using imaginative ingredients from the audience. Original stories written by local kids are brought to life as their tales jump off the page and onto the stage. The Story Bakers believe there are incredible and imaginative stories inside each and every child; from royal monsters to fire-breathing bunnies to trouble-making magicians – and they use every moment to cultivate creativity by turning any environment into the setting of the next great story. The Story Bakers love making up new recipes on the spot and need your help to whisk together the perfect ingredients of these never-before-seen story cakes.

The Lincoln Center Support League is once again sponsoring their FREE Children's Summer Series Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. during the months of June and July. Great for children of all ages, this series features hour-long presentations of comedy, music, dance and culture. Grab your sunscreen and blankets and head to The Lincoln Center lawn!
