The Lincoln Center’s Fill the Box Toy Drive to Benefit Toys for Tots

This holiday season, The Lincoln Center is thrilled to bring together two Christmas institutions—Mannheim Steamroller Christmas and Toys for Tots. Benefitting Marine Toys for Tots, The Lincoln Center’s Fill the Box toy drive will take place December 7–20 in conjunction with Mannheim Steamroller Christmas playing The Lincoln Center on December 20.

“The Lincoln Center is first and foremost a community center,” says Jack Rogers, Director of The Lincoln Center. “We strengthen our community bond every holiday season by partnering with different local organizations and coming together as a community to give them the support they need. This year, we are proud to be working with Toys for Tots who have been instrumental in making so many Northern Colorado children’s holidays a little brighter.”

Since 1947, The Marine Corps and Toys for Tots have been making a difference in the lives of families. Last year, to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy, the Larimer County Toys for Tots distributed 18,714 toys and supported 6,195 children.

“We are so excited to partner with The Lincoln Center this year,” says Marine Corps Sergeant and Larimer County Toys for Tots Coordinator Deborah Simer. “The Marine Corps Reserve’s mission is that no child goes without a new toy to love on Christmas morning, and the need continues to rise as the aftereffects of the pandemic continue. We know with your help we will have another amazing season.”

Everyone is welcome to make donations of new, unwrapped toys during the Fill the Box toy drive happening now through December 20. Tickets to performances are not required for donation drop-off. Toy drive items can be dropped off at The Lincoln Center located at 417 W. Magnolia Street in Fort Collins during Lincoln Center business hours which vary but include Tue-Sat, noon-6 p.m. and one hour prior to or during performances. Toys for Tots prefers not to accept realistic-looking weapons and gifts with food. If donated, such items will NOT be distributed.
