Mountain Dance Presents, Nutcracker with a Twist, Clara in the Land of Villains. When a young girl named Grimilda trades her beloved hand mirror for a book called Nutcracker with a Twist, she cannot stop reading. The story she reads is set in the magical Parlor of a young girl named Clara. Through reading the story, Grimilda becomes increasingly intrigued and finds herself drawn into the magical pages of the book and even becomes part of the story, hosting Clara and her family on an adventure through the “magic mirror “and into the enchanted forest of Villains. This fun twist to the Holiday Traditional Nutcracker, features all styles of dance and music and is performed by Mountain Dance Performance Company members and Mountain Kids dance students.
