The classic Greek myth comes to life through this original ballet rendition, choreographed by Director Ixchel Levendosky and performed by students of all ages and levels from the Front Range Classical Ballet Academy. The story explores the connection between nature’s seasons and human emotions, the mixed pain and excitement of growing up, leaving home and finding one’s place in the cosmos. Additional short works to be presented include pieces accompanied by live cellists, and selections from classical ballet repertoire.
